Phosphorus Recovery
Today, the majority of chemical phosphate used for the world’s crops are mined from phosphate rock. Since there is no substitute for non-renewable phosphorus in food production and remaining reserves are dwindling, our rapidly-scalable and environmentally benign filter media can capture wasted chemical phosphate for re-use, solving phosphorus supply issues this century.
Nitrogen Recovery
Nitrogen runoff alone is more than 13 million metric tonnes per year. Our filter media turns this excess run-off into a concentrated, exportable fertilizer product.
